It is expected to mark the thirty-fifth consecutive time that an NBA Finals telecast has won the night across the board and the twenty-third consecutive time that it has delivered double digit overnight ratings.
The peak period for the game was between 10:30pm and 10:45pm EST. This fifteen minute period saw the game peak at a 13.9. Local market numbers are just as good for the NBA Finals. Game 5 pulled in a 37.6 metered market rating in San Antonio and a 28.8 in Miami.
The series’ crucial Game 6 airs Tuesday night June 18th, live at 9pm EST from Miami. It will be broadcast live on ABC. It will also be simulcast on ESPN Radio affiliates across the country and on ESPN Deportes for Spanish speaking audiences.
