Royal Blood Performing Live Tonight On Conan

Fans of the hugely popular British rock duo Royal Blood will get to see the band live tonight on TV. There’s just one catch. They have to be able to stay up late to see the pair perform.

Royal Blood is scheduled to perform live tonight on Conan. There is currently no word on which song or songs the duo will perform. The performance is part of Royal Blood’s ongoing support for its self-titled debut album released via Warner Brothers Records late last year. The dup is currently on tour in support of its self-titled debut. It is currently scheduled to perform live tomorrow, April 17th in Pamona, California before a sold out crowd before making an appearance this weekend at the annual Coachella Festival in Indio, California.

Virgin Mobile Recruits Exmortus For New Ad Campaign

Prosthetic Records’ own Exmortus is starring in a new ad campaign for Virgin Mobile.

The new TV spot is a fully tongue-in-cheek piece that sees the L.A.-based four-piece applying its own brand of metal to espouse the benefits of Virgin Mobile. It was directed by Paul B. Cummings (Conan, The Colbert Report). It can be viewed online now at http://www.ispot.tv/ad/7yMf/virgin-mobile-galaxy-s5-metal-band. Drummer Mario Moreno shared his thoughts on the shoot, saying that “We had a great time shooting with Paul and it was an awesome experience, especially breaking all the gear at the end!”

Exmortus will be back on the road again this summer in support of its latest album Slave to the Sword.” It will tour alongside veteran metal band Flotsam and Jetsam on that band’s tour. The current tour itinerary is listed below.

Langhorne Slim Performing On Conan Monday Night

Langhorne Slim & The Law is getting to be quite the big deal.  The Portland, Oregon based band’s song, ‘The Way We Move’ has found itself onto televisions and computer screens the nation (and possibly the world) over as it’s being used in the latest ad campaign for the new Microsoft Windows 8 operating system.    Now the band is taking the next step in its meteoric rise to fame.

The band will be on Conan this coming Monday night on TBS.  The band is scheduled to be on Conan to perform its hit song, which is also the title track from its latest release.  Conan airs weekly at 11pm EST/10 CT.  The Way We Move was released this past June on Ramseur Records.    Fans that don’t get the chance to check out the band this Monday night will still get the chance to hear the band’s music live as it tours in support of The Way We Move.  The band will be at the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville, TN tomorrow, Saturday March 23rd.  It’s just one stop on a very busy schedule for the band.  Fans in North Carolina will get their chance to see the band live when it makes a stop at the French Broad River Festival in Hot Springs, NC on Saturday, May 4th.
