Danny De La Rosa debuted the video for his latest single this week.

De La Rosa debuted the video for his single ‘It’s Alright It’s Okay’ Monday through v13.net.  The single is featured on his new album 12 Weekends.

The video is presented in video game form a la Roblox, with the main character and his girlfriend going around from point to point.  He is having to deal with the consequences of her actions the entire time.  Video editor Miras Orazbekov created the work in which the video takes place.

The song’s musical arrangement is a straight forward pop rock composition that is based in its guitars, drums and vocals.  Its lyrical content is mirrored through the story told through the video.

De La Rosa explained the song’s lyrical content in his interview with v13.net.

“This song is from the perspective of a straight laced moralistic guy that is hanging out with a girl that likes to party and raise hell,” he said. “The guy is trying to change her to be his idea of normal and trying to push “maybe just wine on Sundays listening to Coldplay” instead of constantly drinking and embarrassing him. He ends up realizing he cant change her and he has to stop wasting his time. The album has an extended version of this song with a cool blues breakdown”

‘It’s Alright It’s Okay’ is the third single from De La Rosa’s debut album.  The record also produced the singles ‘Acid Flame‘ and ‘Third Wheel Man.’
