Offspring Playing Tonight Show This Friday

Offspring fans mark your calendars.  The band is scheduled to perform on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Friday night.  The band will perform the lead single and title track from its new album, “Days Go By” on the show.  After its performance on The Tonight Show, the band will head out west for the Sunset Strip Music Festival this Saturday, August 18th.

The Offspring to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight

The brand new album from punk rockers, The Offspring hits stores tomorrow, June 26th.  In celebration of the release of its new album, the band will be on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight.  The band will perform the lead single/title track from its new album, “Days Go By.”   

Fans can expect more mix of sounds from the band on “Days Go By.” There’s a reggae-esque piece in ‘OC Guns’, and even a touch of mariachi music in ‘Cruising California (Bumpin’ in My Trunk).’  And for fans who are really wanting something different, there’s some speed punk death metal in ‘Dividing By Zero’ and ‘Slim Pickens Does the Right Thing and Rides the Bomb to Hell.’

The Offpsring debut video for new single

The Offspring have officially debuted the video for the first single off the band’s new album, “Days Go By”.  It debuted a short time ago on the band’s official website, http://www.offspring.com and on http://www.vevo.com.  The video follows a group of friends as they drive through the Southern california desert, reminiscing about the past.  Mixed in with this footage are shots of the band peforming the song.  The video was directed by Lex Halaby, who also directed the video for the band’s 2009 song, ‘Kristy, Are You Doing Okay?”
