DHT To Tour Europe This Spring

Dead Horse Trauma has announced another new string of live dates.

The band announced Monday that it will serve as support on Ektomorf’s latest headlining tour beginning March 2 in Dusseldorf, Germany.  The tour runs through April 1 in the Czech Republic and includes performances in Hungary, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, France and other nations.  The current schedule is noted below.

The Forge Announces Expansive New Live Calendar

Chicago has, for ages, been a hotbed for great musical talent and a place where some of the biggest acts have come on their tours, including the acts lined up to perform at The Forge, the city’s foremost concert venue.

The Forge released this week an extensive new list of acts scheduled to perform at the venue.  The schedule runs from Feb. 9 and runs through June June 29.  Dead Horse Trauma opens the new schedule alongside Oblivion Zero, Consume The Divide, A Silent Truth and torn By Tentacles.

Also scheduled to perform at The Forge on its latest schedule are: Sons of Apollo on Feb. 18 alongside Drifting; Act of Defiance on March 15, Hatebreed on March 20 alongside Crowbar, The Acacia Strain and twitching Tongues; Satyricon and Inquisition on May 20; Uli Jon Roth on June 29; Flaw, Bedlam, Static Signal and Undeclass on March 29 and many others.

Dead Horse Trauma Launches Its Annual “South For The Win-Tour” Run

Dead Horse Trauma has hit the road for one last North American live for the year.

The band launched on Wednesday, its fourth annual “South For The Win-Tour” tour.  The tour launched in Pekin, IL and is currently scheduled to run through Feb. 10 in Burlington, IA.  It includes performances in South Carolina, Florida, West Virginia and Tennessee.  The current schedule is noted below.

Vyces Debut New Video; Announces New Live Dates

Vyces unveiled the video for its latest single ‘Nocturnal’ this week.

The song, which is taken from the band’s forthcoming EP Angels, features Carla Harvey, of Butcher Babies, making a guest appearance.  The video was directed by Ron Thunderwood at Tiger Lab Studios. Thunderwood called working on the video a memorable experience.

“I feel really lucky to have worked on this,” Thunderwood said of the shoot.  “It’s been the coolest challenge I’ve met as a director…mixing practical and CG effects, we really got to create another world.”

‘Nocturnal’ debuted online via Bravewords, a little more than two weeks after the band debuted the song alone online to all digital outlets.  The video is also streaming online via the band’s official YouTube channel.

In anticipation of Angels’ upcoming release and the debut of the EP’s lead single, the band has also announced new live dates with Shallow Side and Dead Horse Trauma.  The band’s dates with Shallow side begin June 27 in Fardo, ND and run through July 12.  The venue for that date is still being scheduled.

The band’s tour with Dead Horse Trauma begins July 13 and runs through July 22 in Des Moines, IA.  Both tour schedules are noted below.

Dead Horse Trauma has announced a new string of live dates.

The band will launch the West Coast leg of its “Life Tour” this Saturday, April 15 in Fort Dodge IA and runs through May 20 in Pekin, IL.  While the tour is considered its West Coast leg, it will take the band throughout the Midwest and southwest as well as the west coast with dates in Texas, Nevada, Colorado and other points throughout the noted regions.

Dead Horse Trauam Signs New Worldwide Distribution Deal

There’s big news from Dead Horse Trauma’s camp today.

The Des Moines, IA-based band has announced a new distribution deal for its upcoming album Life.  The band has signed a deal with Sony Music Distribution imprint Orchard for the album’s worldwide distribution.

The importance of the new deal was not lost on the band’s front man, Eric Davidson. He said signing with The Orchard is a big step for the band and added the band was deeply appreciative for the support offered by fans and backers alike.

“We’re beyond excited to finally get our debut worldwide release under our belt with one of the largest distribution outlets in the world,” Davidson said. “With our newly-assembled development team and now the means to put Life into ears around the globe, we couldn’t have asked for a better situation. Huge thanks to our team and all our fans for helping us make this happen.”

The band will launch a tour in support of Life beginning Feb. 17 in Madison, WI.  The tour, dubbed “Life Tour [Phase I], currently spans 17 dates and runs through March 18, with its final show currently planned to be a hometown show.

The band announced this week that it hit launch “The Road Rage To Revival Tour” on Nov. 29 in Hollywood, CA.  The tour currently runs through Dec. 17 in Houston, TX and includes performances in New Mexico, California, and Nevada, too.  The full tour schedule is listed below.

Dead Horse Trauma Unveils ‘Left Unsaid’ Lyric Video

Dead Horse Trauma has officially released the video for its latest single.

The Des Moines, IA-based hard rock outfit released the lyric video for its new single ‘Left Unsaid’ this week.  The song comes from the underground outfit’s upcoming album Life.

The new video mixes footage of the band performing its new single with the lyrics to the song.  There is also powerful imagery of a young woman who appears to be preparing to shoot up heroin as an illustration of the song’s seeming message about the dangers of drug use.  It can be viewed online now here.

The song runs just short of four minutes in length but is a powerful composition that is sure to get listeners’ attention with its lyrical content and visual imagery in its video.

There is currently no official word on when Life will be released. It can be pre-ordered online now here.  While fans wait for DHT’s new album to be released, they can hear even more music from that album during the band’s current tour schedule.
