Butcher Babies member Carla Harvey will have her art on display this fall at a special art show.

Punk Rock & Paintbrushes will host the free event from 6 – 11 p.m. ET on Nov. 14 at ZHOU B Art Gallery in Chicago, IL. The all ages event is free to attend with a VIP option. It will feature artwork that Harvey created this year.

Harvey talked about her new works in a recent interview.

“I couldn’t think of a better way to end this crazy year than by immersing people in an atmosphere celebrating art and music (with a little booze, none the less), after all we have been through!,” she said.  “Drawing daily during this pandemic saved my sanity and I’m thrilled to be able to showcase new pieces born out of the darkness of this year.  We’ve all been starved for entertainment in 2020, so creating safe experiences like this event where we can have fun as we adhere to social distance guidelines are crucial. I’m especially excited to showcase side by side with [Anthrax drummer] Charlie Benante, as our relationship started years ago by sharing art we had created. Our styles are very different…expect a show the runs the gamut of comic book art to fine art from the imaginations of two metal musicians that had their first date in an art store. “

Deep Eddy Vodka will provide the noted adult beverages. Guests can also sample Benante’s own signature coffee line, Dark Matter Coffee while they take in Harvey’s artwork. Benante’s own VANS custom footwear will also be part of Harvey’s art.
