Whitechapel debuted the video for its latest single this week.

The band debuted the video for its new single ‘Doom Woods‘ Thursday.  The song is the seventh single from the band’s 2019 album The Valley.  Its premiere comes more than a year after the band debuted the album’s sixth single ‘Hickory Creek.’

The album’s other singles are: ‘Forgiveness is Weakness,’ ‘Third Depth,’ ‘Black Bear,’ and ‘Brimstone‘ and ‘When A Demon Defiles A Witch.’  Along with releasing those singles, the band also partnered with Revolver magazine last year to release a trio of live performances from the band that were recorded at the band’s Nov. 19, 2018 performance at the Belasco Theater in New York.  The featured performances were of the songs: ‘Forgiveness Is Weakness,’ ‘Brimstone’ and ‘When A Demon Defiles A Witch.’

Guitarist Alex Wade said in a recent interview, he was pleased with the video’s outcome.

“We are excited to release the animated video for ‘Doom Woods’ off our 2019 release ‘The Valley,’ he said.  “While we have some time off from touring, we thought it would be a great time to give a visual representation to the closing track from the album. We were blown away with what the design team was able to create and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did. It really gives the track a new depth.”

While the COVID-19 outbreak caused the cancellation of Whitechapel’s current tour, the band  has announced a new re-scheduled tour alongside As I Lay Dying and Shadow of Intent that is set to launch Feb. 17 in Tucson, AZ and to run through March 20 in Riverside, CA.  The tour features performances in cities, such as Raleigh, NC; Kansas City, MO and Austin, TX.

The tour’s schedule is noted below.  The band is stressing to audiences that anyone who bought tickets for its cancelled dates can use those tickets for its upcoming Winter/Spring 2021 tour.
