Independent rock band EverGlaze debuted its latest single over the weekend.
The band debuted its new single ‘Feels‘ and its companion video Friday. The debut of the song and its video comes more than four months after the band debuted its then latest single, ‘Shadows‘ and its video.
The ‘Feels’ video features the band performing its new single is a warehouse type setting, complete with bright lighting of many colors. A party of sorts is going on along with a poker game while the band performs its new song. The song’s musical arrangement boasts a work that will appeal to fans of indie/garage/punk style sounds while its lyrical content will find an equally if not wider appeal.
The band discussed the song’s lyrical theme in a prepared statement.
“Have you ever been in a relationship and knew that you were just comfortable, but not really happy? Like you were just going through the motions and faking the feelings that used to be there to hopefully get them back again, but know they won’t? Well, this song is about taking that hard and painful next step,” the statement reads. “Being honest with yourself to just not fake it anymore and be free of that noise in the back of your head that comes with a feeling of guilt. Even though you could keep going on with that lie, you just won’t because it’s the best for not only you, but for your partner as well. There’s still love there, it just wouldn’t be right so you finally take that leap and it just feels so unexpectedly… GOOD.”
‘Feels’ is available to stream and download here.
