Members of the newly created American Athletic Conference, Conference USA, and Mid-American Conference will have a new bowl to vie for beginning with the 2014 season.  The Boca Raton Bowl was created by ESPN Regional Television, a subsidiary of ESPN.  Members of each conference are expected to play in the game four times over the six-year span established as part of the agreement with ESPN.  It will be played at FAU’s stadium in Boca Raton, Florida and will be televised nationally on ESPN or ESPN2.  The open-air stadium opened in 2011 and holds a little less than thirty-thousand fans.

Local sales for the brand new bow game will be handled by ESPN West Palm, FAU’s radio broadcast partner.
