Knotfest.com has added Amon Amarth to its ongoing streaming concert series lineup.

The website will feature the band’s 2018 hybrid documentary/live recording The Pursuit of Vikings25 Years in the Eye of the Storm at 3 p.m. ET on July 31. As an added bonus, the stream will also feature a live chat with Amon Amarth’s members during the event.  The combo package was released Nov. 16, 2018 through Metal Blade Records.

The documentary takes audiences through the band’s rich history both in studio and on the road, and includes a wealth of interviews with the band through that time.  The double-live recording features two sets from the band, performed at the 2017 Summer Breeze Festival in Dinkelsbuhl, Germany.

Guitarist Olavi Mikkonen said in an interview ahead of the package’s release, the band was glad to have both performances together in one setting.

“For the first night, we wanted to write a set that the fans would enjoy by wholly diving into our back catalog, but also keeping it interesting,” Mikkonen said.  “Putting the two shows together also made us realize that we had a lot of songs to choose from!”

The original trailer for the package is streaming here.
