The Infamous Stringdusters To Release New Album This Winter

The Infamous Stringdusters has a new album on the way.

The Grammy®-nominated bluegrass band announced this week that its sophomore album Ladies and Gentlemen this winter. The album is currently scheduled for release on Friday, February 5th, 2016. The band’s sixth full-length studio recording, it will be released via Compass Records.  In anticipation of the album’s release Rolling Stone magazine has debuted the first single from the upcoming recording via its website at http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/hear-lee-ann-womack-join-infamous-stringdusters-on-i-believe-20151210. While there audiences can read writer Marissa R. Ross’ article on the band and its new recording. The single, ‘I Believe’ features guest vocals from famed country artist Lee Ann Womack. She is just one of the famed artists that makes a guest appearance on the upcoming recording. Joss Stone, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Joan Osborne also make appearances on this record. The band will kick off a tour in support of Ladies and Gentlemen beginning February 8th in Telluride, Colorado. The two-night stand at the Sheridan Opera House (February 8th – 9th) will be followed by a string of dates that will take the band throughout the country. There are even two dates in North Carolina included in the band’s tour. The first of those dates is April 3rd at the Lincoln Theater in Raleigh, North Carolina. The second sees the band performing at the Visulite Theatre in Charlotte, North Carolina on April 6th. The Dirty Heads Returning To Raleigh, Bringing Shiny Toy Guns Along

The boys in The Dirty Heads are coming back to North Carolina.  The band is returning to Raleigh once again.  This time, the band will be coming with Shiny Toy Guns in tow as co-headliners.  The bands will be performing together at Raleigh’s famed Lincoln Theater on Saturday, February 16th.  The bands’ performances are part of the “Tour Odyssey” powered by purevolume.com.  The Dirty Heads’ performance comes on the heels of last year’s release of its latest album, Cabin By The Sea.  Shiny Toy Guns is touring in support of its most recent release, III.  That album was released this past October on Five Seven Music.  It was also listed by the Associated Press as one of the AP’s Top 10 Albums of 2012.
