Clutch Releases Special 7″ Split For Record Store Day, Announces Upcoming Re-Issues, Tour

Clutch and Lionize released a special 7” split disc for Record Store Day this year. Clutch’s new song ‘Run, John Bareleycorn, Run’ served as the double-sided disc’s A-side. Lionize, Clutch’s label mates on Weathermaker Music, took the disc’s B-side, ‘Ether Madness.’

The new 7” split is just one of the releases that Clutch has in the works. The band is set to re-issue its album Earth Rocker via its own Weathermaker Music on June 10th alongside a Collector’s Edition Double-vinyl re-issue of the band’s

Earth Rocker will be re-issued in a special triple deluxe format. It will include the original album plus two new songs—‘Night Hag’ and ‘Scavengers.’ Also included in the new re-issue of Earth Rocker are a full length live recording of the band performing Earth Rocker and the live DVD, Live in Denver. The DVD presents the band’s sold-out November 14th, 2013 performance at the Ogden Theatre in Denver. Clutch will hit the road in support of both of its upcoming re-issues beginning Tuesday, April 22nd in Newcastle, England at the famed 02 Academy. The European leg of the band’s tour will take the band across Europe through Sunday, June 29th before the band returns to the United States for the North American leg of its tour beginning Thursday, July 24th. The North American leg of the band’s upcoming tour includes a stop in North Carolina. It is schedule to perform at Ziggy’s in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Sunday, July 27th. Official band lineup, ticket sales date announced for Gwar-B-Q

The annual Gwar-B-Q is set and ready to go.  The full details for this year’s annual festival have officially been released.  Joining the festival this year will be the likes of The Casualties, Lost Tribe, and Antietam 1862 among a whole slew of others.  The whole thing will take place at the Hadad’s Water Park in Richmond, VA on August 18th, 2012. 

Tickets for the event go on sale next Monday, July 9th.  they can be purchased online at  Doors for the Gwar-B-Q open at 11am.  Set times for each performance will be announced soon.  Standard all-day tickets are $25.  Deluxe tickets are $35.  The cost includes an official Gwar-B-Q t-shirt along with all day access.  Premium tickets cost $75 each.  The price of these tickets includes both all day access to the Gwar-B-Q and an official Gwar-B-Q t-shirt, just as with the Deluxe tickets.  Premium tickets include more, however.  Along with all day access and a t-shirt, guests who purchase premium tickets will also get to take part in a meet-and-greet with Gwar.  One lucky guest that purchases a premium ticket will even get the chance to appear on stage with the band during its show.
