Rise Against Announces Dates For Upcoming Tour

Rise Against is hitting the road this summer.

The band is hitting the road in support of its brand new album The Black Market (Interscope Records).  The band’s tour kicks off next Sunday, August 31st at the Made in America Festival in Los Angeles, California.  The first half of the band’s current 24-date tour will see the band play a handful of dates in the Midwest before it makes its way through various dates in California.  The second half of the band’s current tour schedule brings the band to the East Coast after another handful of Midwest dates September 22nd, 23rd, and 24th in Missouri and Ohio.  Rise Against will be joined by Touche Amore and Radkey for its upcoming tour.  The band’s current tour schedule is listed below.

The Black Market debuted at #3on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart and at #1 on iTunes’ Alterative Albums Chart.  The album’s lead single, ‘I Don’t Want To Be Here Anymore,’ is currently in the Top 10 at both Alternative and Active Rock radio.  The song is meant to raise awareness about the overwhelming amount of violence in nations around the world from the United States to countries in the Middle East and elsewhere.  It is accompanied by a video that can be viewed now here.
