ESPN Radio and the Mike & Mike show have launched a very special new contest for listeners. The “Say Hey to the Mikes” contest gives fans the chance to visit ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut and even an all-expenses paid trip to Hawaii. All fans have to do is listen to Mike & Mike every day for the “winning word or phrase” to cue them to enter. When listeners hear the “winning word or phrase” they just have to call, text, tweet, or go online to http://www.espnradio.com to register with that day’s winning word or phrase. One person with the correct “winning word” will be chosen at random each day. And at the end of each week during the contest’s run, one person will be named the weekly winner. That person will qualify for a trip to ESPN’s headquarters at Bristol, CT on December 4th, 2013. To sweeten the deal, the winner of that contest will even get to appear on the Mike & Mike Show. And during that broadcast, one lucky person will be announced as the winner of the all-expense paid trip for four to Hawaii from January 24th – 29th, 2014.
The contest kicked off Monday, October 7th and runs through Friday, November 15th. The daily “winning word” will be announced every day on the Mike & Mike Show. Listeners can enter to win by calling 855-ESPN-WIN, texting 777000, or by going online to http://www.espnradio.com/SayHiToTheMikes. Fans can even enter via Twitter. Any fan that tweets #AlohaMikes throughout the contest will be entered for a chance at one of three weekly prize packs. Those prize packs include a t-shirt and baseball cap.
Audiences can catch Mike & Mike every Monday – Friday from 6am ET – 10am ET on ESPN Radio, espnradio.com, ESPN2, and via mobile internet on the ESPN Radio app. More information on this contest and all things Mike & Mike is available online at http://www.facebook.com/ESPNMikeandMike, http://www.espnradio.com/mikeandmike, and http://twitter.com/mikeandmike.
