Wiretap Records’ artist roster expanded again this week.

The label announced Tuesday, it signed independent pop punk band Moldy Roses. The band’s signing makes it label mate to the likes of In Parallel, Taken Days, and Mercy Music.

Along with the signing, the band also released its new self-titled 7″ picture disc this week. The record is available here. The band debuted the video for two of the EP’s songs — ‘Bleach‘ and ‘Millenial Falcons‘ — last year. The musical arrangements featured in both songs are works that will appeal to fans of bands, such as Sum 41, New Found Glory, and Good Charlotte.

According to front man Quintin Manchester, ‘Bleach,’ ‘Millenial Falcons’ and the EPs are examples of Moldy Roses’ infancy.

“These are the first 3 songs ever recorded by Moldy Roses,” he said. “We had a total blast recording this EP in the early days of the pandemic and we feel insanely lucky to have had Kyle McAulay of Spanish Love Songs engineer and produce it for us. I first met Kyle in 2017 at a SLS show in Fullerton at Programme. Spanish Love Songs had just released ‘Giant Sings the Blues’ digitally through Wiretap. That is still one of my favorite records ever, So all these years later, partnering with Wiretap records was a total no brainer!!”
