Louder Than Life Festival Lineup Announced

The Louder Than Life Festival will return to Louisville, KY this year with an expansive lineup of acts.

The festival, scheduled to take place Sept. 22-25 at the Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, KY, will be headlined by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, and KISS. The four-day festival will also feature performances from bands, such as Bloodywood, Anti-Flag, and Superbloom. The KY Expo Center is located at 937 Phillips Ln. in Louisville, KY.

The festival’s full lineup is noted below. Tickets are available here. Weekend general admission passes start at $249.50 plus fees. Weekend VIP passes start at $629.50 plus fees. A limited number of Weekend Top Shelf VIP passes is still available for $1,329.50 plus fees.

General admission single day passes start at $99.50 plus fees. Single day VIP passes start at $295.50 plus fees. Layaway options are available through March 31 for $10, with payments made through July.

The Lonely Ones Announces New Live Dates

The Lonely Ones has lots of live dates coming up.

The band announced Wednesday, it will close out 2021 with a pair of performances in support of Sevendust. The band is scheduled to perform as support for Sevendust Dec. 29 in Orlando, FL and on Dec. 30 in Mobil, AL.

After taking a little time off to rest and recharge, the band will tentatively head back out on the road for another string of live dates beginning Jan.2 in Sauget, IL. The band’s January live run is scheduled to run through Jan. 16 in St. Joseph, MO and features performances across the Midwest.

The Lonely Ones will take some more time off to rest up again following its January tour before heading back out on the road again in April. The band’s April run, which is another run through the Midwest, is scheduled to launch April 8 and to run through April 23 in Akron, OH.

The Lonely Ones’ upcoming dates with Sevendust follow an extensive summer/fall tour that launched Aug. 19 in Indianapolis, IN and wound down Oct. 16 in Winchester, VA.

The Lonely Ones has risen to popularity through a handful of singles. The band released its most recent single, ‘Gettin’ High‘ in July. It debut followed that of the band’s other singles, ‘Dyin’ All Night Long,’ ‘Flash Gordon/The Hero,‘ ‘Change The Station,’ ‘Real Big Trouble, ‘Eternal Sadness,’ and ‘The Lonely One.’

Rocklahoma Performance Times Announced

The 2021 Rocklahoma Festival will go on for now.

Performance times for the festival were announced Wednesday through a news release distributed to the media. The festival’s unofficial start is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. ET Thursday with a performance by Devium IV on the Deb Concerts Stage.

Thursday night’s kickoff continues at 8:05 p.m. with a performance by Dead Metal Society. The Iron Maidens follow at 9:30 p.m. Stephen Pearcy, the voice of RATT will headline the evening’s events at 10:50 p.m.

FRIDAY

Friday’s official launch opens at 11 a.m. on the Deb Concerts Stage with a performance by Straight Six. Lovesick Radio, Outlaw Devils, Travis Bond & The Rebel Souls, and Color of Chaos keep things moving from 11:50 a.m. through 2 p.m.

Liliac closes out the performances on the Deb Concerts Stage at 5 p.m., but before that, Plush will take the stage at 4 p.m. on the Renegade Stage. Half an hour later at 3:30, From Ashes To New will open the action on the Renegade Stage.

Performances from the likes of Tremonti, Candlebox, and Sevendust are also scheduled for Friday. Rob Zombie is scheduled to headline Friday’s events at 10:45 p.m. on the Freedom Stage.

SATURDAY

Slipknot is scheduled to headline Saturday’s events at 10:45 p.m. on the Freedom Stage. Prior to its performance, other bands, such as John 5 and the Creatures, Zero 9:36, and Pop Evil are also scheduled to perform.

Also scheduled to perform Saturday are the likes of Butcher Babies, School of Rock, and Falling in Reverse.

SUNDAY

Sunday will see its own wide array of acts scheduled to perform. Among those scheduled to perform Sunday are The Hu, Puddle of Mudd, and Philip H. Anselmo and the Illegals.

Nonpoint Announces New Live Dates

Nonpoint will head back out on the road later this summer for a full-length tour

The band made the announcement Friday. It will launch what it has dubbed the “I’m About to Explode Part I” Tour Sept. 11 in Easton, PA. The tour is scheduled to run through Oct. 10 in Tempe, AZ and features performances in cities nationwide, such as Jacksonville, NC; Green Bay WI and Destin, FL.

Front man Elias Soriano was upbeat as he talked during a recent interview, about getting back on the road.

“We’re coming out of the pandemic swinging!,” he said. “The bands and the shows will leave fans talking for weeks.. Production is new, show is BRAND NEW, deep cuts from our catalog and our most Ruthless Setlist ever. ITS ABOUT TO EXPLODE, Part 1 is the swing of the bat and first contact”

The band had previously announced a handful of live dates for this month and September, as well as the schedule for its 2022 appearance on the ShipRocked Cruise. It makes this announcement the band’s first big tour announcement of the year.

Dropout Kings, Saul, and Any Given Sunday will serve as support throughout much of the tour. Joining the band for other dates are the likes of Tetrach, Seether, Atreyu, and Plush.
