Serj Tankian’s “Harakiri” streaming free online now

Serj Tankian’s new album, “Harakiri” hits stores next Tuesday, July 10th.  And before it hits stores, Red Bull is giving fans the chance to check out his album in its entirety right now.  The full album can be streamed now online for free at http://smarturl.it/HarakiriPremiere .  In preparation for the album’s release next week, Tankian will host a release event at the Warner BRothers Records offices next Monday, July 9th.  And then next Wednesday, July 11th–the day after the album drops–he will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel LIve, on the show’s outdoor stage.  That will be followed up by a performance at the KROQ’s Red Bull Sound Space on Thursday, July 12th.  There’s even a big tour to support the new album set.

Official band lineup, ticket sales date announced for Gwar-B-Q

The annual Gwar-B-Q is set and ready to go.  The full details for this year’s annual festival have officially been released.  Joining the festival this year will be the likes of The Casualties, Lost Tribe, and Antietam 1862 among a whole slew of others.  The whole thing will take place at the Hadad’s Water Park in Richmond, VA on August 18th, 2012. 

Tickets for the event go on sale next Monday, July 9th.  they can be purchased online at http://www.gwarbg.com.  Doors for the Gwar-B-Q open at 11am.  Set times for each performance will be announced soon.  Standard all-day tickets are $25.  Deluxe tickets are $35.  The cost includes an official Gwar-B-Q t-shirt along with all day access.  Premium tickets cost $75 each.  The price of these tickets includes both all day access to the Gwar-B-Q and an official Gwar-B-Q t-shirt, just as with the Deluxe tickets.  Premium tickets include more, however.  Along with all day access and a t-shirt, guests who purchase premium tickets will also get to take part in a meet-and-greet with Gwar.  One lucky guest that purchases a premium ticket will even get the chance to appear on stage with the band during its show.
