Ice Nine Kills is doing its part to celebrate the anniversary of horror flick Scream‘s debut.
Sunday marks the 20th anniversary of the movie’s original premiere. As the big day nears 9along with the franchise’s fifth movie next year), the band has released a mini-documentary celebrating the classic slasher flick.
The four-minute-plus presentation finds front man Spencer Charnas taking audiences through the house that was used in the original movie. He and organizers of the “Scream Comes Home Convention” talk about the house in the presentation. Meanwhile the band’s original song ‘Your Number’s Up,’ which it crafted about the movie, plays over the video.

The video is just the latest presentation from the band. It debuted the live video for its performance of another original song, ‘Rocking The Boat‘ Dec. 11. Both songs are featured on the re-issue of the band’s 2018 album The Silver Scream, titled The Silver Scream: The Final Cut.
The original 2018 release of The Silver Scream produced the singles and videos for: ‘Thank God It’s Friday,’ ‘Stabbing in the Dark,’ ‘A Grave Mistake‘ and ‘The American Nightmare,’ ‘Savages,’ ‘Enjoy Your Slay‘ and ‘Merry Axe-mas.’
The latter featured six additional tracks not featured in the original release: ‘Your Number Is Up,’ ‘Thriller,’ ‘A Grave Mistake (Live from Sirius XM),’ ‘Stabbing in the Dark (Acoustic ft. Matt Heafy),’ ‘SAVAGES (Acoustic),’ and ‘Thank God It’s Friday (Acoustic ft. Ari Lehman).’

Front man Spencer Charnas had the following to say of the band’s ‘Rocking the Boat’ performance clip:
“This particular song was a highlight every night to me,” said Charnas. “I mean, How often do you get to antagonize one of your crew members while they’re wearing a large inflatable shark costume in front of a couple thousand people?”
I Heard They Kill Live was recorded live in Ice Nine Kills’ hometown of Worcester, MA on Nov. 19, 2019. The recording’s track listing is noted below.
