Silverchair’s sophomore record Freak Show is returning to stores this summer.

SRC Vinyl will re-issue the band’s second album on vinyl on July 28th. It is the third of the band’s albums to be re-issued on vinyl. Both Frogstomp and Neon Ballroom have each received the vinyl re-issue treatment previously. Pre-orders are available online now for the re-issues at http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Silverchair-%252d-Freak-Show-2XLP.html. It will be available in a 2-LP, four-side presentation in two different colors—180 gram red (limited to 500 copies) and 180 gram green (limited to 1,500 copies). It has already sold out in its 180 gram blue presentation. The complete track listing for the album is as follows:

Track Listing:

SIDE A: A1 Slave, A2 Freak, A3 Abuse Me, A4 Lie To Me

SIDE B: B1 No Association, B2 Cemetery, B3 The Door

SIDE C: C1 Pop Song For Us Rejects, C2 Learn To Hate, C3 Petrol & Chlorine

SIDE D: D1 Roses, D2 Nobody Came, D3 The Closing

Freak Show was originally produced by Nick Launay (Birthday Party, Models, Midnight Oil). It produced three Top 10 singles—‘Freak,’ ‘Abuse Me,’ and ‘Cemetery’—and reached the number one spot in the band’s home country of Australia. The album’s fourth single, ‘The Door,’ reached #25. The album was a response to the expectations placed on the band and the backlash that the band received from audiences and critics alike after the release of its debut album Frogstomp. It [Freak Show] would go on to go gold in the United States and platinum four times over in Australia. Sales of Freak Show internationally topped 1.5 million copies.
