D.O.A. Unveils New Video; Updates “Fight Back” Tour Dates

Veteran punk outfit D.O.A. released its latest music video this week.

The legendary Canadian punk band unveiled the video for its single ‘You Need An Ass Kickin’ Right Now‘ on Tuesday.  the video is the first from the band’s new album Fight Back.  It crosses footage of the band performing live with video footage outlining what front man Joe Keithley called the problem of the world’s negativity to get its message across.

“In our modern world that is stuffed with ever increasing episodes of racism, sexism, greed and warmongers, it’s time to say enough is enough, time to fight back,” Keithley said.

Among the figures highlighted that brought about that “racism, sexism, greed and warmongering” presented in the new video are: Donald J. Trump, Kanye West, Vladmir Putin, Harvey Weinstein, Chinese president Xi Jingping and more. Keithley said of the figures highlighted that he wished more could have been put into the video to help illustrate the song’s message.

“My only regret is that the song is only one minute and 20 seconds long, so we ran out of time to include more,” Keithley said.
