The O’Jays are going to be on television this week.

The group—Eddie Levert, Walter Williams, and Nolan Grant—will be on CBS’ Late Show with Stephen Colbert Thursday night.  The trio will sit in with the show’s house band, Jon Batiste and Stay Human and will perform with the band  going to commercials and coming out of breaks.  The numbers expected to be featured in those segments will come from The O’Jays’ extensive catalogue.

Garbage To perform On The Tonight Show Tonight

Shirley Monson and her band of brothers in garbage—Butch Vig, Duke Erikson, and Steve Marker—will be performing tonight on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.  The band will be performing its new single, ‘I Hate Love’ from its most recent album, Not Your Kind of People.  That LP was released earlier this year.  It will follow up tonight’s performance with its last concert of the year tomorrow, December 8th at KROQ’s annual “Almost Acoustic Christmas” in Los Angeles, California.
