Amon Amarth debuted the video for its latest single this week.
The band debuted the video for its new single ‘Shield Wall‘ Thursday. The song is taken from the band’s new album Beserker. The video, directed by Phil Wallis and produced by Alexander Milas/Twin V. Ltd., features a historically accurate depiction of viking battlefield tactics as a group of vikings works to hold off a horde of invaders against the song’s musical backdrop. The video was shot on-site in Wolind, Poland, site of the famed Festival of Slavs and Vikings.
‘Shield Wall’ is the fourth single and video to come from Berserker. The band released a video trilogy featuring videos for the songs ‘Crack The Sky,’ ‘Raven’s Flight‘ and ‘Mjolner, Hammer of Thor‘ ahead of and after the album’s release.

The same day the band debuted its new video, it also launched the new North American leg of its tour in support of Berserker. The tour is scheduled to run through Oct. 26 in Los Angeles, CA and to feature performances in cities, such as Charlotte, NC; Denver, CO and Phoenix, AZ.
