The men of Ice Nine Kills are doing their part to help with recovery efforts from the fires that have devastated Australia.
The band is selling a new shirt whose sales will go to benefit those efforts. A news release distributed Tuesday states that 100 percent of the shirts’ sales will benefit those recovery efforts.
Front man Spencer Charnas talked about the shirt’s sale in a statement featured in the release.
“Last month we were thrilled by the killer reception we received on our inaugural visit to Australia,” he said. “In light of the recent events, we are donating all profits from this limited edition shirt to the Australian Wildfire Relief efforts. Please consider picking one up and helping out our friends down under in this devastating time.”
The shirt is available for purchase at ink-merch.com. According to information on the flyer for the shirt, this sale will run for only two days.
Ice Nine Kills has been busy touring in support of its recently re-issued album The Silver Scream (2018). The band re-issued the album with five extra acoustic tracks on Oct. 25 through Fearless Records. The group will continue its tour Feb 1 on the annual Shiprocked Cruise.
Once the cruise is done, the band will return to Europe to finish its run there before returning to the U.S. on April 10. The band’s latest tour schedule is noted below. Tickets are available here.

Just last month, Ice Nine Kills debuted a playable three-level game based on its song ‘Merry Axe-Mas,’ which is featured in The Silver Scream and its re-issue. The video game features three levels — Santa’s Forgiveness, Santa’s Forest and Silence The Sinners — through which Santa Claus wreaks some serious holiday havoc. The video game and the song and video are all inspired by the controversial 1984 slasher flick Silent Night, Deadly Night, which is a favorite of INK front man Spencer Charnas.
The full track listing for the new re-issue of The Silver Scream is noted below.
