Vyces Premieres New Single, ‘Paralyzed’

Vyces debuted its new single this week.

The band debuted its new single ‘Paralyzed’ Tuesday.  The song was released through Imagen Records/Warner ADA.  The song comes more than a year after the band debuted the video for its last single ‘Thin Luck,’ which was released May 9, 2018.

‘Paralyzed’ is streaming online now via Apple Music and Spotify.  Musically, the song’s choruses boast a very aggro-rock vibe while the choruses are the exact opposite, tense, but still lighter than the feel of the song’s choruses.

Vyces front man Dave Naruszewicz talked about the song in a recent interview.

“I’m extremely excited to share ‘Paralyzed’ with everyone,” he said.  “It’s a song we’ve been playing live over the past two years and has definitely made its mark as a core song in our set. Producer Augustus Cryn’s vision for the song caught my attention the first time I heard the riffs.  Infectious and undeniable, this one is a head banger from start to finish.”

Vyces Debuts ‘Thin Luck’ Video

Vyces has finally released the video for its single, ‘Thin Luck.’

Roughly two months after the band debuted the single, it has finally debuted the song’s companion video.  The band debuted the video via Loudwire on Wednesday.

Directed by Ron Thunderwood (9electric, Exmortus), the video puts the band into a desert setting as it performs its song.  Meanwhile, a quiet residential neighborhood is upset by a less than savory figure.  That figure in question doesn’t meet the happiest of endings either, not to give away too much.

Audiences can hear ‘Thin Luck’ live now as the band is currently on the road alongside Ventanna as support for Mushroomhead’s current headlining tour.  The bands are scheduled to be in Dallas, Texas May 11, San Antonio, Texas on May 12 and Lubbock, Texas on May 13 to round out the weekend.  From there, the tour takes the bands throughout the Midwest, West Coast and Pacific Northwest, with stops in Colorado Springs, CO; Portland, OR; San Diego, CA and other cities.

Vyces Releases New Single; Announces New Live Dates

Things are picking up again for the men of Vyces.

The band recently unveiled its latest single ‘Thin Luck’ late last month.  The hard rock arrangement is driven by a heavy guitar line that conjures thoughts of Fear Factory, White Chapel and other similar acts.  Lyrically, the song comes across as another familiar song about a broken relationship.  This is inferred as front man Dave Naruszewicz sings, “I saw you looking back at me/With blood stained hands/And your eyes so empty/Are you addicted to the punishment/When nothing’s left/I still won’t feel a thing/I, I will not forgive/I will not forget/When the rain began to fall/this can’t be the end/That’s what you said/And now you’re begging me for more”

This is just a small snippet of the song’s lyrical content.  Needless to say, it goes on in similar fashion throughout the rest of the song, hinting just as much at the topic of some sort of broken relationship.  The song is streaming online now on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon and Spotify.
