For seven seasons the crew of the 12th Precinct brought audiences loads of laughs in the classic cop comedy Barney Miller. But this summer, it all comes to an end when Shout! Factory releases the final season of the hit classic sitcom.

Shout! Factory will release Barney Miller: The Final Season on Tuesday, July 7th. Barney Miller was beloved both by audiences in general and by police officers because of its more human portrayal of police officers. It stood completely apart from all of the other crime series on television at the time then. And it even stands completely apart from today’s crime-centric series. This season sees Luger having second thoughts about his mail order bride (yes, mail order bride) in “Arrival.” There is also a funny yet thought-provoking episode in the form of “Homeless” that sees the 12th Precinct overrun by the city’s homeless population during the holidays. And in “Bones” the countdown to the end begins as Wojo discovers an antique rifle in the precinct that will mark the beginning of the end for the 12th. These are just a few examples of what audiences have to look forward to in this eighth and final season of Barney Miller. Barney Miller: The Final Season will be available Tuesday, July 7th in stores and online. It will retail for MSRP of 24.97 but can be pre-ordered online now for a discounted price of $19.97 at https://www.shoutfactory.com/tv/comedy/barney-miller-the-final-season.
