Ska band Bite Me Bambi debuted the video for its latest single this week.

The band debuted the video for its new single ‘This Love Is Dead‘ Tuesday. The video is a spoof of Dick Wolf and NBC’s hit series Law & Order. It features front woman Tahlena Chikami as the murder victim caught up in a love triangle. It is up to a police investigator (played by one of her band mates) to find out who pulled the trigger and took the woman’s life. The suspects are all played by her other band mates.

The band talked about the video in a prepared statement.

“For those who don’t know, Bite Me Bambi is way into true crime,” the statement reads. “We touched on a Law & Order spoof -“Ska & Order ” during our last video Carried Away and since the new single “This Love is Dead” has a murder/crime theme we decided to revive it. Which of the suspects committed the murder? You will have to watch and find out!

‘This Love Is Dead’ is the latest single from Bite Me Bambi’s new EP Hurry Up And Wait. The EP’s body is composed of ‘This Love Is Dead’ and five other songs that Bite Me Bambi has released this year.

Of the EP, the band had the following to say in its statement:

“This collection of songs represents the origin of Bite Me Bambi,” the statement reads. “Essentially they were the first initial songs Tahlena and [guitarist] Brian [Mashburn] wrote before and while the band was forming. We feel that this collection is a good representation of where the band was in 2019-2020 and as always we are happy to put them out so the fans can have all the singles in one EP.”
