Slayer is officially done, but not gone.
The legendary thrash metal band has partnered with Metal Blade Records to re-issue all four of the albums that it released through the label. The band made the announcement Wednesday through a news release distributed to the media.
The albums — Show No Mercy (1983), Haunting the Chapel (1984), Live Undead (1984), and Hell Awaits (1985) — are scheduled for release Oct. 22 on CD, vinyl, and cassette. The specifications for each platform’s release is noted below. Pre-orders are open.
