Independent hard rock band Another Day’s Armor debuted the video for its latest single this week.

The band debuted the video for its song ‘Underneath‘ Friday.  The band released the single, which is featured in its 2019 EP Phoenix on Jan. 24.  The video crosses footage of the band performing its song with a man — played by front man Daemien Drake — committing a very heinous act, and being discovered by a woman who is possibly his love interest.

Drake talked about the video treatment in a recent interview.

“We wanted to go with a different approach in this song and music video,” he said.  “In a time when there is such an overflow of music and content being released, the last thing we wanted to do is is be predictable with our new product.  The video is dark and maniacal, but also depressing in a way due to the main character not knowing how to express his affection in normal ways.”

‘Underneath’ is the second single from Phoenix.  The EP’s lead single ‘Won’t Stop Me’ was released Jan. 11, 2019 alongside its companion video.
