Early this year, it was announced that Kreator and Anthrax are scheduled to tour Europe this fall, with Testament as special guest.
Now this week, it was announced that ahead of that tour, Testament and Kreator will make their way across America this September and October. The Klash of the Titans Tour 2024 is scheduled to launch Sept. 12 in Reno, NV and to run through Oct. 27 in San Francisco, CA. Possessed is scheduled to join the tour as special guest.
The tour will take bands through the Northeast, Midwest, West Coast and Southwest with stops nationwide in cities, such as Cleveland, OH; Portland OR and New Haven, CT.
Testament said in a prepared statement, the upcoming run with Kreator will be a celebration of the forthcoming re-issue of two of its albums.
“Get ready North America. We are looking forward to a co-headline tour with our Thrash master friends Kreator,” The statement reads. “This is gonna be a madhouse of a show with our Bay Area homies Possessed opening the show so get there early. Testament will be performing an old-school set celebrating the re-release of The Legacy & The New Order.”
Kreator also shared its own thoughts on the tour in its own prepared statement.
‘We’re very proud to bring a second edition of the “Klash Of The Titans” to North America!,” the statement reads. “This time with the Bay area beasts, Testament and one of my favorite bands in the world, Possessed. From start to finish, this is metal madness and we can’t wait to deliver our biggest shows to date over there!”
Tickets are available now through the official websites of Testament and Kreator. The tour’s schedule is noted below along with Testament and Kreator’s upcoming fall European tour schedule with Anthrax.
