Skull Riot Premieres Video For Latest Single, ‘Same Old’

Independent rock act Skull Riot debuted the video for its latest single this week.

The band premiered the video for its new single, ‘Same Old‘ Monday. The video’s premiere came less than a week after the band unveiled the single by itself. The musical arrangement featured in the new single is an interesting mix of punk and hard rock that creates a unique noise rock whole that is actually quite engaging and entertaining.

According to information provided in the news release announcing the debut of the new single tackles the familiar topic of personal relationships in its own way. In the case of this song, the subject is tackled by taking on the matter of “paranoia, regret, and what could have been.”

The matter is tackled visually in the video by having the duo — J. Ferron and Sam Epstein — perform the new single in padded rooms. The visual is mean to help illustrate the themes pointed out in the news release.

The premiere of the video for Skull Riot’s latest single came two weeks after the band unveiled the song’s lyric video and two months after the debut of the band’s then latest single, ‘Blood and Crows.’
